LEAVING HOMETOWN DUE TO THE UNEMPLOYMENT

Is there any solution than going to another city? People in my hometown started to be in search of good quality of life standarts, needs started to be inadeque for them with the developing technology and with the increasing of needs. Unemployment is the biggest problem . there three basic causes of unemployment.

Firstly, my hometown is a rural area. Formerly people used to make money from agriculture and livestock. Almost every family had their own animals which are small scatt and big scatt . Additionally, they had their own field to farm. Farming was very common at those times ;but, agriculture and livestock lost its effectiveness dy by day winth whe developing technology in big cities. People got become making less money from it. İncome from agriculture and livestock decreased and so people started to go another city to live in a better condition by finding good works than staying in their hometowns.

The other main cause is factories. There are three factories near my hometown; but, they aren’t as they were in the past. They fired lots of worker from my hometown and from the other villages when they were first opened. However, they got become not doing work, they got become not buying goods to export with the economical chrisis and because of these reasons they laid off the workers. People stayed in a bad stiuation. Some of them went another city while some of them were staying in their hometown.

Finally, the last important cause is that some tradesmen closed their work places because of economical factor and because of not doing money from their works. Many young people were out of work because closed work places. They were the main possibility of work , so being closed of them effected people, too much. It leaded people to leave their hometown like the other causes.

Consequently, people had to leave their hometown. Some of them experienced difficult days because of being in a different city; but, some of them are very pleased with their conditions. However, government can support the villager much more, businessmen can realize investments for residents who live in small areas. Something can be done to develop these areas’ conditions.

AFTER A FANTASTIC DAY

It was a sunny afternoon in Zonguldak (şehir değiştirilebilir). The sun was shining outside, the sea was smart like a bed sheet; the birds were flying and crowing as if they were singing, and I was preparing a perfect breakfast for my family. We all were in the positive mood that the day had given to us. At the table, we were making jokes each other, laughing, talking ... We were so happy. My father and my mother had a plan including going to seashore, camping out. So happy to hear that, my sisters and I immediately began to prepare for that wonderfull day we would spend...

I put my the best warmest clothes for night which we would spend there. My sisters also prepared her packback. My mother prepared delicious food and she also prepared drinks and she put them in a big basket. At the same time, my father was interested in tecnical things like checking our car, our tempt which was huge and colorful like objects of a carnaval. We set off after everything was ready. The place which we went was very freshful and it had clear atmosphere. Sea was very calm and many seagulls were flying above it. At such a nice place we spent good time like talking with each member of the family, telling stories which were horror, funny, playing games... At last the night finished and we had a nice night. After all we started to get ready to go home,we picked our equipment and put them into the car.

We got in our car after all preperations. Just as we were about to go,the weather immediately turned into redness. The sun escaped its hole ,the trees’ leaves were shaking rhtmly and the birds were singing as a group. There weren’t any animals out as if they predicted the incoming disaster and I could hear something approaching us , but I could not see anything. My family was supposed to understand what I felt ,so they left the car and looked out a scare in their eyes like me. We were all loking the incoming disaster. The clouds turned into black while everything were going well. Following that raining started slowly and it speeded up more and more. Waves started to occur in the sea with the shirply wind. A yatch which had a tour with tourists was going to right and left and we were feeling the hurry of people from here. At that time also we found safetly place to stay in with the other people who were camping like us. Something were getting worse at the yatch, it was clear that the yatch was out of control. The sea was playing with yatch as if a child had played with her toy. At last the yatch ditn’t put up with and listed. We couldn’t do anything but watching what was going on. Soon, storm began to lose its effectiveness and some people were trying to swim to the seashore in order to save themselves.

Finally coast guard had arrived when the storm was calm down and there were two ambulance for injured. Fortunately there was no dead after this destructive storm. We took a comfort breathe when we arrived at home but this storm effected all of us because we had never seen such a big storm at close range. I will never forget that day!

OPINION ESSAY

POSITIVE ATTITUDE

Not only conventional medicine is enough but also emotional state is very important while struggling with serious illnesses. There are effects of positive things on us as we are effected easily from negative things. It is neccessary to try to keep ourselves.Positive attitude is really important while they are examined by doctors, professionals. It helps people in healing.

Thinking different and positive things is one of the acting positive attitude. It provides to forget some illnesses and helps us concencrate on the other part of life.Even,we can see things which we could't see before. We realise that actually there are too much people who have lots of problems, more serious ailment than us and also sometimes we realise by thinking in positive attitude that some people are not lucky like us.Knowing this trigger our self confidence and our brains and so we decide to overcome our illnesses.

The other one is making something which will be albe to make us happy, excited, laughing person, and also having full of fun because happiness excitement and laughing have much more positive effect on us than the others.Being happy has an fundamental impact on body's basic health and healing mechanisms. On the other hand laughing reduses stress hormones. It is also a very efective coping mechanism when we are suffering from deadly diseases such as cancer...etc.For example Norman Cousin chooses laughing for his healing in adition to conventional medicine. He watches comedy films make himself funny because he thinks that Laugh Therapy which is his own idea will be useful for his ailment, and in the end he lives 25 years after learning his ailment.Positive attidude in healing shouldn't be neglected on accont of its help.

Consequently,we,people, needs to spiritual things which will make us powerful against those serious illnesses in adition to conventional medicine. They are both necessary to heal us.Firstly we must have resistence to overcome and at that time doctor can be able to do something to make us healed.

COMPARE AND CONTRAST PARAGRAPH OF FİLMS

OBSTACLES WHİCH ARE OVERCOMED

Obstacles are around of us in our life.We encounter with too many obstacles everyday or we encounter with people who have lots of obstacles which are very difficult to endure. In those two films we have watched there are people, main characters, who deal with undurable obstacles.Helen Keller is blind and deaf in The Miracle Worker while Frank is struggling with poverty in Angela's Ashes.Their obstacles are different from eachother's,but;they are ambitious in order to overcome their obstacles. When I compared those films,I found The Miracle Worker more impressive than Angela's Ashes. In Angela's Ashes,Frank deals with poverty, misery and tormented life, but;I think at that time there may be lots of families just like them even if this is a real that Frank is strong to overcome his problems compared with the others. However;I think, Helen Keller achives that thing which is impossible. She is blind and deaf, but;she overcome this obstacles with the help of her parents and especially with the help of her teacher. At first, she is wild and she learns alphabet of hand and at the end of film she is really calm and also she is able to speak a bit. This is really extraordinary situation because she is deaf. How can be a person who can't hear any voice, but speak?I think this achivement is more impressing one comparing with Frank's achivement. As a result in these two films, main characters overcome their obstacles in spite of difficulties. They both yearn for dealing with them thanks to their ambition, willing and patience.

BANDIRMA of MY CHILDHOOD(revised descriptive essay)

It is Bandırma of my childhood with its all beauties.Bandırma is a city which I have ever lived in.It is a city of Balikesir which is located in the south of Marmara .It is a lot different with its all beauties and everything such as life in it,its wheather,sea.roads...etc.The most impressing and interesting things are wheather and life in Bandırma.

Firstly,Bandırma's climate is coastal because of being near sea.Its weather deceives you, because you feel its different wheather when you get out of the bus and when you put your steps on the ground, smoothe wind blows to you,and so firstly you can feel it.It comes to you as if it is cold, but;,you feel that it is not cold when you go on walking slowly. It is surprisingly changable.Somewhere is smoothe windy while somewhere is calm, cloudy or sunny. It is really changable in Bandırma and so everybody says that even the wheather attracts you.

The last one is life in Bandırma. In fact life is difficult in Bandırma especially financially;for example, electicity bills, home rentals are very expensive and high.Except these things life in general is pretty good in Bandırma. There are lots of things to do;for example, basically you can go out with your family and friends and you can sit on rocks near the sea and eat something while you are watching the calm sea in daily times, even you can also walk along the wharf to lighthouse. The scene of the lighthouse is wonderful, watching sunset at there is really exciting exerience because of its scene. There are lots of scene in the other parts of city. Then in summer nights casinos and parks which are near the sea are most preferable places. Both with friends and family you can go there and spend your times. On the other hand, every year there is a festival called with PARADISE OF BIRD(KUS CENNETİ FESTİVALİ).For this festival concerts are organised, and so some famous singers come. Then, also lots of staffs are set by people who want to introduce or sell their products such as accesorries.machines, tecnological machines,hand-made products and also food. These staffs also provide entertaintment, fun with their organizations for people such as their show like circus, their music which they play and etc...In other word, lots of different products are sold and too many people come to Bandırma for this interesting exciting wonderful festival.

Being my childhood love Bandırma is place which should really be visited and seen. Its wheather, life people are really atractive.Imagine that you have lived there during all your childhood life while walking around the city. This is exellent experience!

Descriptive Essay(example of descriptive essay)
I ambitiously decided that I would brighten the lives of the elderly by volunteering at a rest home, but discovered that the elderly were being neglected, shoved aside and forgotten. As I stepped into the home a pungent odor penetrated my nostrils, causing an instantaneous gagging reflex. The place was abounded with neglected and subdued inhabitants, yearning for attention. Anybody that passed them caused a sudden outburst of ranting. The negligence and disregard the home displayed appalled me, but helped me to realize that I wanted to make a difference and change the condition people live in.
As I walked down the corridor I noticed a man lying in a hospital bed with only a television, two dressers, and a single window looking out at nothing cluttering his room. Depression overwhelmed me as I stared at the man laying on his bed, wearing a hospital gown stained by failed attempts to feed himself and watching a television that was not on. The fragments of an existence of a life once active and full of conviction and youth, now laid immovable in a state of unconsciousness. He was unaffected by my presence and remained in his stupor, despondently watching the blank screen. The solitude I felt by merely observing the occupants of the home forced me to recognize the mentality of our culture, out with the old and in with the new.
I then sat with a woman who was gazing out of the window. The woman appeared to be in her early eighties, but youth could still be seen in her angelic blue eyes which illuminated her entire presence. Her face glowed with content and tranquility, and she carried a slight smile that finished her face so completely. Enchanted by her serene radiance, I did not disturb her. Suddenly she began to speak in a whispered hum that was more like a song, unique in a dwelling full of ranting outbursts. She spoke of years long past, swimming in the pond with her sister and dancing in the moonlight. I could picture all in my head, like I was watching a movie....
Descriptive Essay About The Beach
Descriptive Essay(example of a descriptive essay)

On a hot summer day, the only good place to go is to the lake. You would go out to the lake to enjoy the water, the sun, the activities that are happening, or just to be with family and friends.
When you're at the lake, there are some very distinct smells. The hickey smell of campfire smoke always lets you know that there are marshmallows and hotdogs being roasted. You'll never want to touch your hair from putting your fingers on the sticky marshmallow, to me it's just crazy glue. But you can always enjoy the sweet coconut smell of sun tanning lotion that people put on themselves while they lay into the sun to basically "cook."
If you're looking for a quiet relaxation at the lake, I don't think that will work out too well. The lake is always really loud throughout the day. You can hear the loud motors of the boat and the waves of the water as the boat comes crashing through. You'll definitely be able to hear the laughter and the excitement of the kids as they splash around in the lake.
While you're at the lake you can always get involved in some fun activities, if you aren't able to relax. You can go fishing, if you like touching the slimy scales of the fish and the soft touch of the cold water. Just make sure you don't get the rough, coarse sand in your shorts because you won't like that too much.
Overall the lake is lots of fun to go to if you just want to get away from the busy, smelly city that you live in. If you are there early enough, for instance if you were camping out in the rocky wilderness you will be able to see a beautiful, bright sunrise and if you enjoy staying out on the beach until the evening, I'm sure you can catch a calming and loving sunset. After the sun has gone down for the night, you can lay in the sand and stare up at the amazing, twinkling stars.
