BANDIRMA of MY CHILDHOOD(revised descriptive essay)

It is Bandırma of my childhood with its all beauties.Bandırma is a city which I have ever lived in.It is a city of Balikesir which is located in the south of Marmara .It is a lot different with its all beauties and everything such as life in it,its wheather,sea.roads...etc.The most impressing and interesting things are wheather and life in Bandırma.

Firstly,Bandırma's climate is coastal because of being near sea.Its weather deceives you, because you feel its different wheather when you get out of the bus and when you put your steps on the ground, smoothe wind blows to you,and so firstly you can feel it.It comes to you as if it is cold, but;,you feel that it is not cold when you go on walking slowly. It is surprisingly changable.Somewhere is smoothe windy while somewhere is calm, cloudy or sunny. It is really changable in Bandırma and so everybody says that even the wheather attracts you.

The last one is life in Bandırma. In fact life is difficult in Bandırma especially financially;for example, electicity bills, home rentals are very expensive and high.Except these things life in general is pretty good in Bandırma. There are lots of things to do;for example, basically you can go out with your family and friends and you can sit on rocks near the sea and eat something while you are watching the calm sea in daily times, even you can also walk along the wharf to lighthouse. The scene of the lighthouse is wonderful, watching sunset at there is really exciting exerience because of its scene. There are lots of scene in the other parts of city. Then in summer nights casinos and parks which are near the sea are most preferable places. Both with friends and family you can go there and spend your times. On the other hand, every year there is a festival called with PARADISE OF BIRD(KUS CENNETİ FESTİVALİ).For this festival concerts are organised, and so some famous singers come. Then, also lots of staffs are set by people who want to introduce or sell their products such as accesorries.machines, tecnological machines,hand-made products and also food. These staffs also provide entertaintment, fun with their organizations for people such as their show like circus, their music which they play and etc...In other word, lots of different products are sold and too many people come to Bandırma for this interesting exciting wonderful festival.

Being my childhood love Bandırma is place which should really be visited and seen. Its wheather, life people are really atractive.Imagine that you have lived there during all your childhood life while walking around the city. This is exellent experience!

I ambitiously decided that I would brighten the lives of the elderly by volunteering at a rest home, but discovered that the elderly were being neglected, shoved aside and forgotten. As I stepped into the home a pungent odor penetrated my nostrils, causing an instantaneous gagging reflex. The place was abounded with neglected and subdued inhabitants, yearning for attention. Anybody that passed them caused a sudden outburst of ranting. The negligence and disregard the home displayed appalled me, but helped me to realize that I wanted to make a difference and change the condition people live in.
As I walked down the corridor I noticed a man lying in a hospital bed with only a television, two dressers, and a single window looking out at nothing cluttering his room. Depression overwhelmed me as I stared at the man laying on his bed, wearing a hospital gown stained by failed attempts to feed himself and watching a television that was not on. The fragments of an existence of a life once active and full of conviction and youth, now laid immovable in a state of unconsciousness. He was unaffected by my presence and remained in his stupor, despondently watching the blank screen. The solitude I felt by merely observing the occupants of the home forced me to recognize the mentality of our culture, out with the old and in with the new.
I then sat with a woman who was gazing out of the window. The woman appeared to be in her early eighties, but youth could still be seen in her angelic blue eyes which illuminated her entire presence. Her face glowed with content and tranquility, and she carried a slight smile that finished her face so completely. Enchanted by her serene radiance, I did not disturb her. Suddenly she began to speak in a whispered hum that was more like a song, unique in a dwelling full of ranting outbursts. She spoke of years long past, swimming in the pond with her sister and dancing in the moonlight. I could picture all in my head, like I was watching a movie....
Descriptive Essay About The Beach
Descriptive Essay(example of a descriptive essay)

On a hot summer day, the only good place to go is to the lake. You would go out to the lake to enjoy the water, the sun, the activities that are happening, or just to be with family and friends.
When you're at the lake, there are some very distinct smells. The hickey smell of campfire smoke always lets you know that there are marshmallows and hotdogs being roasted. You'll never want to touch your hair from putting your fingers on the sticky marshmallow, to me it's just crazy glue. But you can always enjoy the sweet coconut smell of sun tanning lotion that people put on themselves while they lay into the sun to basically "cook."
If you're looking for a quiet relaxation at the lake, I don't think that will work out too well. The lake is always really loud throughout the day. You can hear the loud motors of the boat and the waves of the water as the boat comes crashing through. You'll definitely be able to hear the laughter and the excitement of the kids as they splash around in the lake.
While you're at the lake you can always get involved in some fun activities, if you aren't able to relax. You can go fishing, if you like touching the slimy scales of the fish and the soft touch of the cold water. Just make sure you don't get the rough, coarse sand in your shorts because you won't like that too much.
Overall the lake is lots of fun to go to if you just want to get away from the busy, smelly city that you live in. If you are there early enough, for instance if you were camping out in the rocky wilderness you will be able to see a beautiful, bright sunrise and if you enjoy staying out on the beach until the evening, I'm sure you can catch a calming and loving sunset. After the sun has gone down for the night, you can lay in the sand and stare up at the amazing, twinkling stars.

Using Rights

What is vote for you?Is it right which is given to you or how much is it right to vote to obtain somethings?Vote is preference which a person makes for a candidate or a group.I believe that every individual has the right to vote.

People have some rights from the birth. The right which is to elect and be elected is the one among them.Individuals should be able to vote without restriction and oppression, and countries' possibilities should be convenient for that.

What I want to say that restriction and oppression are wishes which government want to have an authority on individuals, and also they are the making the regime out of order. And so,legal rules should be adjusted in the way which does not make the regime of society out of order. For example, electoral fraud must not be allowed to be done in voting times.People who have responsibility in these times must be inspected. With these regularities, the right to vote will give better consequences.

According to some, everyone should not have the right to vote. For example, some say that I am not equal with a shepherd living in mountain. They think that such people do not know what they will do because of being uneducated, and so they do not want them to vote. However, everbody has the right to express their ideas whatever happens.

In my opinion, every individual should have the right to vote without thinking their education, jobs, conditions of life...etc.Everybody should vote if there is a equality.

ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY

Natural Differences

I like spending my time by walking around the forest or on the seaside, and I like nature in green.I can not have the same experiences in Umiteli Village,Balikesir that I had in Mordogan Village,Izmir. They are very different but also similar to some extent.

Mordogan has the same movement in summer months and it has the same slience in winter months that is like in Umiteli.Mordogan is a village which is near the seaside,so it is crowded in summers and it has too much movement. However,in winter, there is hardly anyone to be seen in there,so it is realy slient in this season.Like Mordogan,Umiteli is also crowded and it has too much movement in summer because agriculture season starts. With agriculture people start to work to produce their products, and so there is movement. In contrast, people begin to calm, relax in winter because works finish and it starts to become slient.Thinking about these things Mordogan and Umiteli are similar.

In spite of their similarities,Mordogan and Umiteli are different in some ways.People who are living in Mordogan are more formal and they do not know eachother very well. However, people who are living in Umiteli are more sincere and close to eachother. They are also not suspicious about eachother. On the other hand, Mordogen is more attractive thanks to its natural beauties. It has lots of trees which are always green, and also it is close to seaside. It is a place where you can see both green and blue.ın contrast,Umiteli is more simple than Mordogan. It is suitable for agriculture,so many types of vegatables, fruits and products such as beet,cotton,wheat...,etc are grown by villagers.

In conclusion, anything is never the same with another. There are both similarities and differences between them.Sometimes differences make them close while sometimes similarities make them close to eachother.
